  • Catholic Charities of Oregon

    Catholic Charities of Oregon’s Immigration Legal Services (ILS) program offers low-cost consultations and legal representation to immigrants and refugees throughout Oregon and SW Washington. Services include:

    permanent residency (green card) naturalization and citizenship
    asylum
    family-based applications/visas
    DACA arrivals
    survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse (VAWA)

  • Community Law

    Metropolitan Public Defender’s Community Law Division serves Oregonians (regardless of immigration status) who are high risk for involvement or who have been involved in the criminal justice system. Services include:

  • Immigration Counseling Services (ICS)

    ICS offers low-cost legal services to immigrants and refugees. With offices in Portland and Hood River, they also offer free community legal education assistance. Services include:

    family-based applications/visas

    naturalization and citizenship
    deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault,
    and child sexual abuse (VAWA)
    visa for crime victims (u-visa)

    Additionally, they can offer assistance via an unaccompanied minors (UAC) program with representation for children under the age of 18 apprehended by ICE and detained in Oregon, as well as via an anti-trafficking program focused on foreign-born victims.
